Job Description:

Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of agency activities and client contact (on one or more accounts).  Builds strong relationship with clients to achieve the client’s marketing objectives with efficiency to grow the account.

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with Account Supervisor/Chief Client Officer/ Chief Operating Officer, on preparation of marketing recommendations, strategies and actions for the client. Assists management in maintaining contact and communication with assigned clients to define their needs, obtain required input, develop project proposals and produce high quality end products.
    • Understands the components of marketing and advertising strategies and applies them in making decisions.
    • Initiates project specific client correspondence and communications to provide project status, follow-up and maintain a high level of customer service
  • Communicates with internal departments to initiate and complete client projects.
    • Provides thorough, accurate and organized input for each job to ensure both the efficient use of company resources and the desired end product with minimal rework.
    • Opens jobs, proofs copy and layout or other specific project output for accuracy and content. Stores all project related documents on the server as reference.
    • Generates project authorizations/estimates for all client work.
    • Writes and distributes client service reports.
  • Manages and ensures all projects or jobs progress as defined, on time, accurately and within budget.
    • Establishes key date calendars and project management schedules in support of budgeted and timely project completion.
    • Reports project or job status to management as appropriate.
    • Develops client billing, manages budgets and generates appropriate tracking reports.
  • Proactively learns about the client's business and industry, as well as the specific products and services offered by the client.

Special Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field is desired.
  • A minimum of three years advertising agency experience
  • Previous experience in writing marketing plans, proposals and presentations desired.
  • Strong writing, computer, verbal and presentation skills also necessary.
  • Demonstrate ability to grow client relationships and budgets.
