Senior Social Media Strategist

Job Description:

Responsible for achieving superior customer engagement and intimacy, the website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. Should have a good understanding of how each social media channel works and can optimize content so it is engaging on those channels. Responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and “soft selling” products by providing support to current and prospective clients.

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
    • Develop, edit, publish and share content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
    • Content should follow each client’s brand voice and be engaging, impactful and optimized by each social media channel.
    • Responsible for boosting social posts with paid support.
    • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competition.
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
    • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries.
    • Report online reviews and feedback from customers and fans.
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
    • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.

    • Manage paid social media budget allocation for key campaigns.
    • Manage timelines and prepares project requests from creative to augment social posts.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
    • Measure the success of social media activities.
    • Analyze campaign results by platform, leverage monitoring tools for consumer insights and digital metrics to assess performance and generate future improvements.
    • Provide social media reporting and recaps for clients and internal teams.
