Job Description:

Basic Function: The Digital Media Coordinator provides entry-level contributions to the digital media team through the creation of deliverables including the development of reports, tracking and optimizing content and ad campaigns, and trend monitoring.

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an understanding of the client's overall business and marketing objectives.
    • Knowledge of market research, current media channels and advertising options, and a willingness to follow media trends are essential.
    • Optimize media campaigns to both increase brand awareness and help achieve business objectives, as well as ensure ads reach target audiences through high-quality channels at the lowest possible prices.
  • Coordinate written requests such as a project scope of work or change requests.
    • Organizes thoughts in a logical, clear, and concise manner.
    • Provides detailed and thorough input to clarify ideas or goals
    • Stores all project-related documents on the Workamajig server as a reference.
  • Track and report Paid Search and Search Engine Optimization KPIs and trends in client-friendly format.
    • Conduct research, including target audience identification, competitive analysis, and website profiling, and search engine keyword analysis.
    • Understands insights and analytics across digital platforms.
    • Prepare optimization reports and bid recommendations based on crucial campaign metrics, including CTR, conversion rate, CPL, and ROI.
    • Trend and analyze results, make recommendations for future campaigns, and deliver relevant reports to the client team.
    • Is receptive to feedback, willing to learn and follow direction, and embrace continuous improvement.
    • Proactively communicate results with the digital leadership account team.
    • Produce strategic planning documents and competitive analyses.
    • Analyzes and recommend ways to optimize performance.
  • Execute digital marketing strategies to drive traffic and conversions to client websites.
    • Write creative copy.
    • Optimize performance through a digital media mix comprised of PPC/paid search, SEO, paid social, retargeting, and display media campaigns.
    • Analyze data and manage budgets, pacing, and client performance to goals.
    • Test the performance of ad creative, landing page design, beta opportunities, and other campaign elements to improve results

Special Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a marketing communications-related field
  • Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint, and proficient with various online tools.
  • Google AdWords certification a plus.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or similar platform preferred
  • Experience with design, publishing, web, and audiovisual production tools and software a plus
  • Avid media consumer with a keen interest in the effect of the Internet and digital technology on media consumption
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal communications, active listening and excellent written grammar and spelling
  • Anticipates client and team needs and offers help before it can be asked Strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal department relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and strong implementation skills.
  • Ability to create schedules and budgets and meet them.
